Yep, that's what it says, Quiche in a Bag. And that is exactly what it is. These are great to have on hand during the holidays or when having overnight guests or a quick dinner when you are to tired to make anything. The recipe calls for ham and cheddar cheese but you can use whatever kind of meat (or veggie) you would like and whatever cheese that suits your taste buds. Make one or make a bunch, you will surely love this one!
Quiche in a Bag
-3/4 cup chopped ham
-1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-2 Cups milk
-4 eggs
-1/8 tsp. (or a dash) Tabasco sauce
-1/2 cup flour
-2 tsp. Baking powder
~Add the chopped ham and cheddar cheese to a ziplock bag.
~Add the milk, eggs, tabasco, flour and baking powder to a blender or to a bowl and mix to combine.
~Pour into the bag with ham and cheese and seal bag, getting as much air out as possible.
Serving Directions: Thaw quiche in the bag. If you forgot to take this out to thaw, it can be thawed in the microwave. After quiche is thawed shake bag well and pour into a greased deep-dish pie plate or an 8x8 square pan. Bake at 350* for 30-45 minutes , until lightly browned on top and well set in the center. Cool about 5 minutes before serving.
Happy Cooking!

We have done something very similar to this ... just minus the flour and baking powder. We take them out of the freezer and toss them into a pan of boiling water for about 10 minutes. Remove, dump out the bag (carefully of course, since it's -- you know -- hot LOL)salt and pepper to taste and enjoy. :o)
You can add onions, peppers, bacon pieces, whatever you like!
Hi, A friend recommended your blog to me after she read my post yesterday on freezer meals. I love this idea about quiche in a bag. Feel free to come over and visit our blog.
Hi Christine, and welcome! Could you e-mail me the link to your blog so I can check it out? Thanks.
Theresa, that sounds yummy. I love the simplicity of boling it in the bag! Thanks for sharing.
I love this recipe. You gave it to me through my sister Amy. I once made it for 50 people!! It was great!
